LET'S WORK TOGETHER!

To get started, fill out the form at the bottom.

Preparing Your Quilt Top

  • Square up quilt as much as possible.

  • Press your top and ensure seams are laying the direction you want. Clip stray threads as best you can -- you don't want dark threads shadowing through your quilt top.

  • If your quilt top has a directional top, pin a note to the top edge.

Preparing Your Quilt Backing

  • Ensure backing is squared up and has an extra 4" on all sides.

    • For example, if you have a quilt top that is 60" x 80", your backing should measure at least 68" x 88". It can be bigger, not smaller.

  • Press your backing and clip stray threads.

    • Ideally, backing seams should run horizontal across. This will prevent bunching of the seams as it is rolled up onto the longarm poles, which can lead to wonkiness.

  • If your backing has a directional top, pin a note to the top edge.

Preparing Your Batting (if you are providing your own)

  • Ensure batting is squared up and has an extra 4" on all sides.

    • For example, if you have a quilt top that is 60" x 80", your batting should measure at least 68" x 88". It can be bigger, not smaller.

Extra fees may apply if I need to put extra time and effort into getting your quilt ready to load. If you have questions, please ask.

I'm passionate about being able to give you results you will love. Teamwork makes the dream work ;)

Quilting Design & Thread Choices

I want this to be fun for you and not overwhelming! You have the option of having me make the quilting decisions for you. It all depends on your purpose for the quilt, sometimes "done" is best!
